Robin Winkle

Robin has over 22 years’ experiencein the international oil and gas industry, working in technical, commercial andmanagerial roles for companies like Shell and LUKOIL, in Europe, Russia, Africaand the Americas. In the course of his career, Robin has held key roles in someof the industries largest and most complex assets, such as Sakhalin II inRussia and the Stones field in the US Gulf of Mexico.

Robin has worked in assets across the full hydrocarbon lifecycle, from exploration and appraisal through conceptselection, definition, execution and field redevelopment. Robin’s experience is in hydrocarbon maturation, asset and corporate valuation, acquisition anddivestment, asset management and negotiation of complex commercial agreements.

Prior to founding Glenloch Energy LLC in 2017, Robin was the Director of Development for LUKOIL’s westernhemisphere business. In this role, Robin was responsible for a portfolio ofassets whose capital cost was in excess of $10 billion net to LUKOIL.

Robin holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London and an MBA from Rice University. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Association ofInternational Petroleum Negotiators.
